Scholarships & Financial Aid

SCHOLARSHIPS / FINANCIAL AID

The desire of Vidalia Heritage Academy is to offer a quality Christian education to as many families as possible regardless of their social or financial status. With the goals of excellence and affordability in mind, Vidalia Heritage Academy provides financial aid to families based on need. This includes, but is not limited to, general scholarship awards as well as discounted tuition for families with multiple children.

The funding for this is a combination of resources from the school’s operating budget and from the Georgia Education Tax Credit Program (a re-allocation of state tax dollars awarded through the Alyn Scholarship Fund to VHA by friends/family that contribute to the program).

How to apply:

  1. You must register your child before you are eligible to apply for financial aid.
  2. Complete the one-page scholarship & financial aid application.
  3. Your application will be submitted to the VHA Scholarship Committee.

*The Scholarship Committee will accurately, thoroughly, and confidentially review the application and award tuition assistance accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All scholarship and financial aid is limited and is granted on a first come/first serve basis including the multiple child scholarships.
  • All scholarship and financial aid requests should be submitted before May 15 each year to ensure an aid award is granted prior to the first tuition payment date. Incomplete applications (or applications for those not meeting the stated criteria) will not be considered. Aid applications received after this date will be considered as they are received.
  • Supporting documents (such as the front page of the family’s most recent Federal Tax Return, disclosure of the family’s Adjusted Gross Income, or other income sources) may be required to complete the application.
  • Upon registration of multiple children, available scholarships are granted on tuition alone. You may also choose to not accept the multiple child scholarship and allow us to bless another family with this assistance.
