Parent Teacher Fellowship: Be a Parent Volunteer

What is PTF?
Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is an organization of volunteers (parents & grandparents) dedicated to encouraging faculty, staff, and families and enhancing the scholar experience. We believe that students thrive when parents are involved in their education, and we seek to provide a place where parents can do that. PTF focuses on building and maintaining a strong school community in a variety of different ways. We seek to work alongside the VHA administration to help make everyone’s experience friendly, easy to navigate, and positive for all.
We seek to bridge parental involvement at our school through:
- Supporting classroom and grade-level teachers.
- Providing a volunteer base for a variety of special programs & events at VHA.
- Helping parents get plugged into VHA and find a way to use their unique gifts, resources, and talents.
- Promoting communication and collaboration between the school and families.
- Providing an opportunity for parents to stay involved in their students’ lives and to contribute to events that support and benefit their children.
