| REMINDERS As of August 30, 2010 >>Tuesday, August 31st - September lunch/pizza orders are due Thursday, September 2, 2010, is “Water Day” at Vidalia Heritage Academy. This is also FREE Dress Day. Swim suits are not allowed. Students are allowed to bring water guns, water cannons, water pistols, etc. to school on this day. Water guns are to be EMPTY when brought to school. Students also need to bring: 1) Extra clothes to change—including shoes, socks, etc. 2) Towel 3) Bag for wet clothes If your child does not wish to participate in “Water Day”, you may pick your child up at 12:00. Your child will still be counted present. >>Thursday, September 9th - spirit wear t-shirts & sweat shirts order form is due >>Friday, September 10th - 11:15am-3rd thru 8th grades remember 9-11 >>Tuesday, September 14th at 6:30 pm - mandatory parent meeting in the "Historic Sanctuary" >>Friday, September 17th - FREE Dress Day >>Thursday, September 23rd - Mid-term reports go home >>Friday, September 24th - Grandparent's Day Chapel at 10:25am >>Tuesday, September 28th - Fall picture day. Students are required to wear their school uniform as these pictures will go in the yearbook. | From Mr. McCormick As hard as it is to believe, the first day of school is right around the corner. I know, I know...some are REALLY excited about it and others are...well, they like summer vacation! I can tell you that I am really excited about this year...new students, new families, and new friends. Truly, our best days are before us.
